Divine Irony

So Carl Sagan was an atheist. Haha.

God FTW.

(If you're blur refer to one of my previous post here.)

  1. I don't understand why an atheist cannot explain the Fourth Dimension.

All these theories of the Fourth and Second Dimensions were conjured by atheists anyway. Have you read Animorphs by Katherine Applegate? If you read the Andalite Chronicles, Elfangor has a similar explanation about the Fourth Dimension, which he believed it to be time. He explained almost the exact same thing to Loren while talking about the Elimist, a supposed fourth dimensional entity who could control time, and he used a pretty similar theory involving flatties, boxes and up and down.

All these theorists are atheists. And about 95% of physicists are atheists (physicists are the dudes who came up with all these dimensions theories) so I don't see why it's so hard for atheists to come up with such theories.

  2. I think you missed my point dude.

His explanation is so strikingly coincidentally biblical. Think of the apple as Jesus. Or the square as John who was taken up to heaven.

Science, even the really deep science, doesn't counter God. It's only our perceptions that do.

Divine Irony to me is when atheists come up with explanations that they don't realise support the notion that God exist.

Unfortunately, they'll never realise that till they truly understand. The wisdom of the world is foolishness.

  3. I beg to differ. Jesus did not bring any of us to Heaven or any other dimension, nor was He from a fourth dimension.

And Science doesn't counter God. More often than not, it's the Christians, Vatican or Church who countered Science, especially in the past. Now they sit back and accept scientific theories, well at least most Christians and Catholics do, but usually it's the Christians who go "THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS EVOLUTION!" "The Earth is the center of the universe and the sun revolves around it!" or "HERETIC! HOW DARE YOU BLASPHEME GOD WITH YOUR HERESY YOU CALL SCIENTIFIC THEORIES!"

Scientists don't bother to prove whether God does not exist. They just prove what there is, and come up with theories that could very well be wrong. If it supports the existence of God, Christians use it to support their arguments. If it runs counter to God's existence, atheists use it to support their arguments. Scientists, excluding their personal beliefs, are usually standing in the middle ground.

  4. John had the vision of heaven when he said he was taken up. The whole book of Revelations was written based on the things that he saw.

Aren't the characteristics of the 4th dimension those of God? We can't understand him coz we're limited by our "dimension". He is not bound by the laws that hold us, like how Jesus could walk through walls.

So a shadow of a 4D object is a 3D object that does not act like one. Jesus in coming down to our world made himself a mere man, a mere shadow of his nature as one with God. So while he didn't do what normal people do, he was God in a form accessible to us. Thus I say say the 4th dimension and God might well be different names to the same thing.

Scientists are rather vocal with the debunking of religious arguments, mostly because the religious tend to, as you say, hammer them down. Blah. I don't like it when christians do that.

When they do that, they make the argument between open mindedness and blind faith an argument of God and science.

I don't see how science and God cannot get along. If God created the world, the study of the world would point to him. If he didn't, it's good to know now. But sigh. While the concepts go hand in hand, man cannot. And so we fight.
