Well if there was something i could do about it, such as train for a test, then yes i guess it makes sense. But now that time is over. To still hold on to hope when there's nothing i can do... might just lead to disappointment.
You could pester them...but hope is something powerful if you want it to be or you could keep getting disappointed if you let that happen to yourself...
