Ambush

Yesterday, Fencing training was cancelled in lieu of a demonstration by the team, so I went for my last Bible Study with my sec 2 and 3 boys before reservist.

I arrived at Matthew's new house and heard screams coming from the second floor.

They did not know I was coming.

I crept into the compound, entered the lift, and loaded my Nerf guns.

The lift door opened, and I sprung the ambush on the boys who were still reloading.

(It probably looked something like this...)

Later on I used Matthew's Vulcan. He loaded a fresh set of batteries and a full belt of 25 darts for me. It's a fully automatic Nerf gun that shoots 3 darts per second and never jams.

(This is the gun. Matthew's was a different colour.)

Marcus and I took on 4 boys armed to the teeth.

My boys have individually gotten quite proficient with their weapons, but they still lack group tactics. They laid down fire down the long corridor, but were not coordinated in their suppression.

Taking the initiative, I gave a loud war cry and charged into battle, guns a blazing, and took all 4 of them down in a suicide bonzai charge.

Yes I was shot too, but I had shot all 4 of them, and Marcus was still in the game, so my team won.

Then the neighbors came and complained that we were making too much noise, so that ended Nerf Wars in Matthew's house.

Never mind. I'm ready for Urban Ops this reservist.

Imma gonna scream my lungs out in battle there firing blanks and lazers.
